Tahiti Inflatable Kayak The Tahiti kayak is lightweight and compact when stowed away. This has made it the choice of expeditions everywhere from Australia to the Antarctic...and also of less 'serious' adventurers exploring their local river pond or canal! Clever design with ridged floor and air-filled crossmembers means it paddles almost as well as a rigid-hulled boat. The fabric is PVC with 'boston' valves (like you would find on a conventional inflatable) on the two main chambers. It takes about six minutes to inflate and is supplied with one double-ended two-part paddle a skeg (for directional stability) and a footpump as standard. Length 325cm (10'8"") beam 80cm (2'7"") weight 11.5kg (25lb) max capacity 165kg (380lb). Packs down to just 61 x 41 x 15cm (24 x 16 x 6"").
