(ii) Watercolour paper prints. Advertised size include a 2" [5cm] surround border and can easily be mounted and framed. Size is 22"x16"
Giclee Reproduction Process: A giclee (zhee-CLAY) is an individually-produced, high-resolution, high-fidelity reproduction done on a special large format printer. Giclees are produced from digital scans of existing artwork, creating a whole new vibrant medium for art. Giclees are particularly suited to canvas and are superior to traditional lithography in several ways. The colors are brighter, last longer, and are so high-resolution that they are virtually continuous tone, rather than tiny dots. The range, or "gamut" of color for giclees is far beyond that of lithography, and details are crisper. Giclees use inkjet technology,the ink is sprayed on, actually mixing the color to create true shades and hues.

The well known landmark "Kitty's Cottage," sitting on the sands of St. Ives Harbour, in the cornish artist community is a happy memory for thousands of holiday makers from all over the world. Allan has captured its quirky nature here, in this individual painting he did one day on the beach. It is a lovely print, especially when framed or mounted for full effect.
