Street Level mapping is provided by Navteq who deliver street level maps for the following countries;
UK, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland,Germany Austria, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
There are a number of ways to find your destination - full postcode, street name, city, favourites or even using the extensive points of interest menu featuring restaurants, petrol stations, golf courses and much more!
TMC Traffic information - FREE of charge
Snooper's traffic information is provided by ITIS, probably the best information provider in the UK. Traffic information is fed from hundreds of thousands of vehicles and sensors across the UK providing up to the second information making it a better sevice than those systems that use fixed sensors. You will be alerted to all traffic incidents across the country, listed in order of distance from your current position. There is also the facility to monitor traffic information relevant only to your route - if there is congestion on your route and navigate around it!
Speed camera alerts
The S2000 will alert you to ALL known fixed speed camera locations as well as providing alerts when you approach commonly used mobile camera sites where you are likely to encounter mobile cameras.
*Access to the camera database requires a subscription fee to be paid. Either pay £99.95 for lifetime updates OR pay a monthly Direct Debit of £4.95 after an iniitial sixc months free.
GPS Golf Shot Saver
The Golf Shot Saver feature gives you access to over 2000 golf courses across mainland Britain. The S2000 the distance to any number of features on a golf course from your current location such as water hazards, bunkers, footpaths, rough areas and of course the front, middle or back of the green! |
