Schatz Brass Tide Clock Midi Range.
These provide an ''''at-a-glance'''' indication of tidal state by means of the blue hand, showing high, low and half-tide. They work by following the lunar cycle - approx 12.5 hrs - thus reflecting the main influence on the tides. Both have quartz movements using one AA battery. Important: because the lunar cycle varies with Earth's, and other conditions also affect tides, there are times when the actual tides vary slightly with those indicated by the tide hand.
