The National Trust’s Finest Gardens Through the Year DVD. Filmed over the course of a year this DVD covers four stunning National Trust Gardens throughout the UK. Each garden has a widely differing range of horticultural styles and periods of gardening history.
Biddulph Grange – This garden is filled with different themed compartments and is a garden of ‘great humour and surprise’
Knightshayes – A formal garden designed around the house with a newly replanted conservatory alpine garden extensive woodland and a recently restored walled garden.
Powis Castle – This garden is a series of terraces high yew hedges and descending paths winding down to more formal gardens. (A wild garden a splendid collection of tender herbaceous perennials and stunning containers are all magnificent features of this outstanding garden.)
Sissinghurst – Created by Vita Sackville-West and Harold Nicolson this garden is a masterpiece of design and plantsmanship and has been in the hand of the National Trust since 1967.
