Designed for military search and rescue missions this hand held unit provides 6 million candlepower of light, a performance not even nearly matched by anything else on the market. It delivers enough light to read a newspaper by from 4 kilometres away. The Maxabeam comes complete with a charger and shoulder strap, packed in a fully waterproof and crushproof Storm case. The unit has a weather-resistant housing, a unique short-arc Xenon lamp and a finger-tip controlled beam adjustable from a 1 degree spot to a 40 degree flood light. The lamp life is 500 hours and this unit will operate for 110 minutes from the fully charged Ni-Cad battery pack. |
