Presented by John Inverdale and Fran Cotton this is the definitive selection of the greatest England XV of all time as voted for by the 18000 strong England Rugby Supoorters Club. The scoring system gave double votes to players who played in the 70's and 80's and treble votes to players who graced England in the 60's and before. There were some absolute shoe-ins but an amazing number of the positions were too close to call. Would Brian Moore beat Peter Wheeler to the number two shirt? Who would you choose between Dean Richards and Lawrence Dallaglio for the number 8 shirt and would you have Neil Back or Peter Winterbottom as the open-side flanker? Moving on to the backs and specifically the wingers would the Underwood brothers make it as a pair would it just be Rory or will neither of them make it? The likes of David Duckham John Carleton and Peter Jackson were pressing hard.
