The Italian Del Gatto family has been working in the shell cameo and coral art for over five generations selecting every piece and crafting it with a unique carving technique. This beautiful cameo framed in 18 K gold is part of the Sardonico collection which uses particular Caribbean sea shells. This creation shows an elegant young woman with her hair pulled up and wearing a pearl necklace. It can be either used as a pendant or as a pin. Made in Naples Italy
