Trees For Life is a Scottish charity that aims to regenerate and restore the native Forest to a large area in the Scottish Highlands. From completely barren surroundings TFL has transformed acres and acres of Scottish Highlands with beautiful healthy trees, all carefully planted and nurtured by volunteers, and the native lichen and grasses have been encouraged to grow back. All this has been carried out under expert guidance to ensure the correct native species grow together as they always did. TFL seeks not only to counteract centuries of deforestation but also to pioneer ecological restoration. Their target is an area of 600 square miles. This project is particularly close to our heart. The diary and calendar are beautifully produced, with striking photographs of trees from around the world, and plenty of insightful information. All are made from recycled paper containing 75% post-consumer waste. Trees for Life Diary now sold out. |
