The Windsor Bed Company Ortho Majestic 1550 Mattress oozes class. This firm non-turn model contains 1550 hand nested pocketed springs in the standard double mattress. The spring unit is encased in sumptuous layers of upholstery including reflex foam, hair, wool, silk, cashmere and cotton felt, and is finished with hand tufted woollen rosettes and three rows of hand side stitching. The Ortho Majestic 1550 mattress contains a flat strip edge and cross braces, with larger mattresses having corner braces as well, to provide a wider sleeping area and edge to edge support during the life of the mattress. It features traditional hand side stitching, which is one of the hallmarks of a quality bed and secures the border to the springs. Nickel plated brass vents allow body moisture to be dispersed hygienically and rapidly.
This mattress also has aloe vera, an amazing natural healer and soother, within the cover to give a softer initial feel and increase comfort levels. This is enhanced by the high quality knitted two way stretch ticking, which allows greater flexibility when used in conjunction with the numerous upholstery layers.
