Single Doorway Bookend - National Portrait Gallery
Within The National Portrait Gallery are the portraits of the great, the good and the not so good, from Tudor England to present times. The grand design of the building itself is worty of much praise. The three founding fathers look out from the wreathed niches whilst the lion and unicorn guard the double door entrance. This bookend is made using British gypsum plaster which allows highly exquisite detail. Additional detail is made using thin metal leaf. Dimensions: W 15cm (6") H 23cm (9") D 7.5cm (3").
